TEL AVIV—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his main political rival Benny Gantz will visit the White House next week to discuss the Trump administration’s long-delayed Middle East peace plan, Vice President Mike Pence said, jolting Israel’s elections.

The move comes as the White House considers making its peace plan public before Israel’s March vote to try to get ahead of the U.S. election season and as political support in Israel grows for the release of the political blueprint.
