A grand jury indicted three suspects on murder charges in the death of Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old black man who was fatally shot while out running in southeast Georgia.

Cobb District Attorney Joyette M. Holmes announced that the Glynn County grand jury had returned an indictment, which formally charged each of the three white suspects, Gregory McMichael and his son, Travis McMichael, and William Bryan Jr., with nine counts, including felony murder and aggravated assault.
