Facebook Inc. said it took down campaign posts and ads for President Trump’s re-election campaign, citing violations of the social-media giant’s policy against “organized hate” as it grapples with what content to allow on its platforms.

The ads featured a red downward-pointing triangle and targeted antifa, a movement they described as “Dangerous MOBS of far-left groups.” The ads asked Trump supporters to back Mr. Trump’s calls to designate antifa a terrorist organization.
