Elizabeth Warren was assessing her future in the Democratic presidential primary after a Super Tuesday rout left her far behind Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.

She retreated Wednesday to her home state of Massachusetts, where she suffered a humbling third-place finish a day earlier in that state’s primary, to consider “the path forward,” according to an aide. She now lags behind the front-runners by hundreds of delegates to the party’s convention in Milwaukee, where a nominee will be chosen.
