Apple Inc. said it would re-close nearly a dozen stores across four states where cases of the coronavirus have climbed, showing wariness in the business community about the safety of reopening in some places.

The company on Friday said it would close two stores near Naples, Fla; two near Charlotte, N.C.; one in Greenville, S.C.; and six across Arizona, including in Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. Apple has 271 U.S. stores.
